Complete the CPC Core Modules in your current cycle before transitioning to the enhanced CPC Program
As of August 1, 2024, the NBCRNA has introduced an enhanced Continued Professional Certification (CPC) Program where core modules are no longer required. However, you must complete your current cycle requirements before moving to this enhanced program.
If you are in the middle of your completing your four-year cycle, you must complete the CPC Core Modules. When your next four-year cycle begins, you will then transition to the enhanced CPC program and are no longer required to complete the core modules.
If you’re unsure about your current requirements and deadlines, log in to NBCRNA to view your CPC Timeline.
Note: Under the enhanced CPC program, the CPC Assessment (CPCA) will also be replaced by a longitudinal assessment.
