How much of my dues are tax deductible?

AANA membership dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution but may be deductible as a business expense

AANA portion of dues

If you're an Active member, $40 of your $412.50 AANA membership dues are spent on lobbying and are NOT tax deductible for fiscal year 2024 (9/1/2023 - 8/31/2024)*.

State portion of dues

You will need to contact your state association to find out how much of your $232.50 dues is spent on lobbying expenses that may not be tax-deductible. Be sure and check with your tax professional.
