You can submit for Class A or Class B credits
The number of credits awarded for a life support classroom course is based on the hourly schedule. AANA awards 1 credit per 60 minutes.
Missing the hourly schedule?
If you do not have the hourly schedule for ACLS or PALS classroom course:
- 4 standard credits can be awarded for ACLS or PALS renewal courses
- 8 standard credits can be awarded for ACLS or PALS initial courses
Standardized credits are not awarded for BLS, NRP, or ATLS, so an hourly schedule is required.
Online course credits
The number of credits for online courses is based on what is awarded on the certificate provided the course was approved by a recognized approval organization for credit.
Submit for Class A Credits
Follow these instructions to self-report Class A credits for $60.
Or Submit as Class B Credits
You may self-report Class B credits at no charge.
Please note: The maximum number of life support credits permitted by the NBCRNA during the 4-year CPC cycle is 20.
